Description
This is in a kind of weird part of Garden Grove, CA. It is a neighborhood of architectural anarchy, where houses, churches and apartments seem to have been built with no regard to any sort of plan or vision. I saw this down a side street that ended about three blocks away. It was very blue. The interesting thing is, it was actually gray. The fluorescent porch light, and perhaps contrast with the yellow ambient light, just made it look blue.
I took the working photos on 10-31-05, hence the title.
I'm not real happy with this picture. It's too cluttered and too bright. I may do it again in fantasy mode. Oil on panel, 2006, 24"X36"
