Very nice. This probably is a scene that would not be easy to
photograph. I also like the change of pace angle-wise.
But again, I feel that glare from the canvas may be interfering
in getting a really good shot. It definitely appears grainy.
Also, the images should probably all have a watermark. Some of
the others without one, may be too high-res.

This picture's one of my favourites. I could stare at it for hours.

Wow, amazing. It makes me feel almost trapped in the house, with the sharp light illuminating the door.

Thanks for your comments and faves..."My Front Door" is one of the paintings I wish I could have back. It was a great challenge to paint it, and I did it at a very intense and hopeful period of my life.
I will have two pieces at OC Fair this year, and a showing at Gallery 207 in Santa Ana in July and August.
Thanks again...MH

you've practically photocopied this with your mind, onto a canvas! it's incredible. I can't paint from real life...can't/don't want to. lol i've never really tried...but i like letting my mind to the imagining. You're like a modern day Vermeer.

The light and dark patterning is wonderfully rendered and designed. It has an honest and haunting ambiance.
