Description
This is the cover to the sketchbook JonBoy Meyers and I did together for the San Diego Comi-Con, 2006. I ink a lot of JB's work, and hope I bring something to the table. I really dig his Joe Mad look, and the energy he brings to the table. He also is a unique talent in that, he's always striving hard for ways to get better. Look out for him in the next few years; he's going to be great! On the piece itself; we left the background uninked for the colorist (we wanted the background to really set back and almost look painted, so the characters would pop); I finished inking it after it was colored, so the original looked good.
