Question: why don't you use the 5 D Mark II?

I'm waiting for the 5D Mk III (waiting on the specs) or the 1DX, there was no point upgrading knowing they were coming.

Started with a 450D, upgraded to the 50D (18-200 lens) which I still use as a walk around, prior to the 7D.
I've been putting the pennies away since I first read about it and realised that I really enjoy what I'm doing in photography. The only way to get to the next level is to go Full Frame.

What do you consider the next level? I personally can't imagine where you could improve.

It part of my personal journey. I'm always seeking to improve.
Image quality and resolution. Full Frame (FF) will allow for better noise control especially at higher ISO. With crop sensors like the 7D the pixelites are packed in like sardines, on a FF they are larger so your immediately get better IQ. They can handle a larger dynamic range so the reliance on HDR won't be as great.
