Late at night at the Mystery Shack, a creaking could be heard from the doors downstairs. Ruffling could be heard from the kitchen. Knowing that their Grunkle Stan would be the one to send him anyway, Dipper grabbed a flashlight, put his hat on and went downstairs to see what was going on. He told Mabel to stay in their attic room, not wanting to put her at risk as well. He walked thru the darkness cautiously, occasionally hearing chewing, hoping what was lurking in the dark wasn't carnivorous.
Soon, he felt something brush against him lightly. It was furry and soft. But that wasΒ probably just an allusion;Β whatever was down here could still be dangerous! Finally,Β he felt it bump into him. In fear he jumped back and finally turned the flashlight on to see what it was.
It was a blue creature with crooked eyes and black all on the inside of it's mouth! Dipper screamed in horror!
...but then the creature began to scream too. It putΒ one of it's hands in front of his face to protect itself, and in it's other hand Dipper could see a chocolate chip cookie. Dipper finally recognized this creature.
"C...c...cookie monster?" Dipper questioned curiously.
The creature nodded.
"Yes, me cookie monster" it replied.
"Wh... what're you doing here?" Dipper asked.
"Me got lost and me hungry. It raining outside."
Dipper finally realized what exact type of cookie this creature was eating.
"Um.... my sister made those cookies, dude... you might wanna eat it carefully, she tends to put glitter on everything..."
"Me no care" Cookie monster replied.
