I'm pretty sure Silver Quill is just a straight Ally, I love his videos too ^^
As a long time fan and Trans Pony myself, I have to say I love this cute guy ^^ His face is pricelessly adorable ^^
If I were you I'd say it isn't healthy to keep it in, but I've learned how dangerous it can be to come out to a closed minded person... my mom practically left me for dead when I came out to her.

I was able to tell my mom, at the very least. She understands it's not a choice, but dad... He has the gall to compare someone who's transgender to "someone black wishing they were born white" or "a human wishing they were born as an animal". Like....???? They're not the same thing????? Not NEARLY??? Ugh.
Not to mention he teaches at a Catholic school and he used to make me go to church with him every Sunday even though I'm agnostic until I turned 18 and told him "I'm an adult and I can make my own decisions about this now" and he decided that I was saying I'm "too lazy to go to church". Either that or maybe I just don't feel comfortable there, considering they made us say a prayer against gay marriage and how they "must preserve the traditional family" and blah blah blah religious narrow-minded bullshit.
So, yeah. Me coming out to my dad is never gonna happen.

WOW. WTF. It''s not nearly the same thing because being trans ISN'T a choice, or a wish. I think ANYONE who has suffered the way a trans person does wouldn't wish this on their WORST ENEMY let alone themselves.
WOW. Too lazy has nothing to do with it you narrow minded fuck. Pardon my French but holy shit.
I used to be dragged to church to, and it was AWFUL. EVen when I was a young kid I could tell the shit they were spouting was exactly that.
Well unfortunately that sucks. Maybe you could get your mom to help if she is supportive?

She's very supportive. She agreed to never tell my dad about me being transgender, and recently took me to Kohl's where she helped me get some pants from the men's section as well as some gender-neutral shoes. She also helped me find a swimming binder and some swim shorts for boys. (I say boys because I'm a tiny son of a bitch.) This way, with the exception of my voice, I can pretty much pass. She is definitely best parent.
Also, I'm glad you like my art! I've been hoping to create more pony art, but knowing the reputation the MLP Fandom has makes me a little nervous, especially since the one who introduced me to the show became a part of the dark side of the fandom ("m'lady", *tips fedora*, clopping, neckbeard, etc. not to mention really homophobic and transphobic but that's a topic for a later date). Granted I no longer talk to him, but I don't want the dark side of the fandom to find me and start finding ways to sexualize my art and harass me the way he did. That's why in the description I just flat-out say I'm not a brony, because that's the typical behavior I've come to associate with the word. I hope that makes sense.

awww that's really sweet of her <3 I wish I even had ONE parent that would do that for me. My mom would tell me I was embarrassing myself when I looked at ANYTHING REMOTELY female x.x
as for the voice part you're lucky, because horomones will change that for you ^^
FTM has better horomones, MTF has better surgery ^^
It's unfortunate that you've only witnessed that side of the fandom, because what I've found most bronies to be like is FAR from that. I've found more acceptance among LGBT bronies than I've ever seen ANYWHERE else, And IMO there's nothing wrong with a little sexualization, some clop here and there harms no one, but overdoing it certainly is off putting :\ but if you like the show and you want to be a part of the pony community, there are lots of places where you can meet others like you right here on DA.
My comic has brought me close to SO many kind hearted, understanding and accepting people whom I fear that I never would have met outside of this fandom

Unfortunately with me still living with both my parents, I don't think it will be possible for me to obtain hormones any time soon.
And I agree with the whole sexualizing thing, but I'm just not one of those fans who's even remotely interested in the whole concept of clopping/making ponies sexually appealing. It's not me, it doesn't make me comfortable in the very least. That transphobic person I mentioned earlier happened to be my boyfriend of two years, and it got to the point that if I didn't want to do NSFW Fluttercord RPs with him (which, for me, was every day; I would do it even though I didn't want to until I'd had enough and said so), he would guilt trip me into believing I wasn't being a "good enough" significant other, that I'd "lost my passion" and stuff like that. When I told him one Christmas that I was exploring my gender identity and was then calling myself genderfluid (and I really thought I was at the time), he actually said "lol ull still be a girl for me tho rite " and just... I couldn't go on. If he wouldn't let me be myself, not do something if I wasn't comfortable with it, and guilt trip me into feeling bad about myself when he was the problem with everything, I decided to just not be with him anymore. And I gotta say, life has been a lot less stressful since then.
Being someone who listens to Steam Powered Giraffe a lot, I've been exposed to lots of LGBT+ accepting people as well, but mostly only in that fandom. I hope to befriend more people in the MLP fandom who can understand where I'm coming from, and also maybe try to get my art out in places where it will be widely seen. I made a bunch of ponies that actually represent different parts of the LGBT+ community, and I've been debating posting them here. Do you think the MLP fans would like to see them?

sucks yo.
Horomones are friggen hard to get anyway x.x
wow, it's sad how that happens to relationships, but it was clear he didn't love you if he didn't respect who you really are.
Steam powered... giraffe? *tilts head like a puppy*
Absolutely I think that the MLP fans especially in the TPM group would LOVE to see your LGBT ponies, the content attracts more LGBTQ people, which is really nice, like I said my own content has brought me SO close to others like me.

Steam Powered Giraffe is a steampunk band that has a MTF person as one of the main members. Their act is that they perform as robots built in the 1890's, and as such, they dress up as robots and some of their songs are about them wondering about themselves. "What is life? And what is real? And why do living things need feelings?" "People just keep throwing manuals, they say our thoughts are all mechanical, but could it be what they perceive are not flaws in our wiring?" and etc. You'd think, them being a band of robots, that they'd do techno or metal or something. Nope, it's folk. I'll put a couple links at the bottom of this comment to show you the transition of the member I'm talking about.
And yeah, I think I might post the ponies. I just hope it all goes well, and maybe I'll find a place to submit them to. I'm just wary about joining any groups yet because I had a DA a long time ago and got involved in a LOT of groups, and the deviations just filled my inbox every day and I just got tired of it, I guess.
Anyway, here's some SPG videos. Look for the robot made of copper (named Rabbit).

WOW. I love steampunk stuff so I'm actually really surprised that I never heard of this. That's friggen awesome <3 I espically love that last video because it proves a CROWD watches this <3<3<3
I'm definitely going to wind up checking out more of this ^^
Well that group you submitted this deviation to is a great place to add your deviations to, everyone here is very supportive etc...
And if you don't want to get deviations from the group but still want to be a part of it there's a way to turn that off in your watch settings for the group
