This was the piece for the Heroes Con art auction. It's a photo taken by Patrick Sun...no scans available. I believe I finished painting it around 5:30 a.m. in my hotel room and then handed it off to be auctioned that night. Heroes Con is a fantastic show and I was pleased that this painting raised just over $2600, contributing to one of the best Comic Book shows in the world.A fitting post for today (7/4)

Stylistically, this seems equal parts Drew Struzan and Bill Sienkiewicz, and yet it's 100% all your own. Easily the best looking "movie poster" i've seen for Cap so far.
