This is a premium format (1/4 scale) super sculpey sculpture I did of Shaak Ti , a Star Wars character produced by Sideshow Collectibles. I believe the original painting here was by Kat Sapene.Related content

Do you perform the sanding using a sandblaster or simply by means of steel wool and sandpaper?

Beautiful .... can I ask how do you smooth it so well? What do you use to do it?

before baking the sculpt I brush it down with a soft bristle brush and turpenoid.
After it's baked there is lots of sanding and buffing with a very fine steel wool.

Thanks! Aaaaaannnnddd....it's almost $400.00. Ha ha, a little out of my price range. Maybe another time. It's a bad-ass and beautiful figure though, and I'm definitely interested. Although, I'm a little confused as to why she's got two lightsabers? I see it's optional whether or not she holds two, it's still a little confusing, ha ha.

there is just something about the unpaired model that i love. Maybe it is the endless possibilities, leaving the colours to the imagination and allowing the natural shadows to change the work.

there's no denying it, Mark - another slick piece of work, mate! And I'm not taking anything away from Kat here - a nice job of painting her, for sure - but I actually prefer most of your work unpainted. I don't know what it is, maybe it allows the sculpt to be beheld on its own merit... (Oh, I just read LeeLou416 post above, i think she nailed it!) Bravo!
