Whats a Needle? I've just starting reading a little bit more about Degenesis but I haven't seen this fellow yet. is this cult, race?

It's a group of wayward Chroniclers, that wandered across the Reaper's Blow and set up a new HQ outside of the parent cult's zone of control. Hence the name, they sting like a Needle under the flesh. Β
