You only want my company,if the air is warm and the sky is clear.
Signs show rain,
and abandonment.
Tears will tumble down my soggy cheeks,
and make small splashes on the drenched asphault.
I failed you once again.
I am sorry.
I wish the sun shone everyday.
This raincloud follows me like a shadow,
my gift to you a storm.
Voices rise over the jealous phone,
barraging sound waves shaking the earth.
Please don't leave me here,
in this constant inundation.
Don't abandon me again, for days more reminiscent of summer.

the emotional associations you make with summer and the rain are a nice touch. also i thought it was interesting how in the line "Tears will tumble down my soggy cheeks" you sort of create your own personal rain. i don't know if that was intentional, but it could have those connotations.

abandonment.. a sad, sd thing, but i rather enjoy the rain, unlike most people. Way to capture real feeling
