I remember when I was visiting Musee Marmottan.
I was on organized trip to Paris so there was too much rush with "ticking off all the attractions" (Musee d'Orsay for less than hour, I thought that I'm going to kill the guide). But we had a day for our own sightseeing and I went to MM.
I thought that I would like to touch his palette so badly... probably not only me, cause they put it behind armored glass.
I saw the paintings painted when he had problems with his eyes. And I saw how he - barely able to see - still painted. There was so deep love for painting, in those big water lilies, his passion was there, the very core of him. I was watching with tears in my eyes.

I did love this museum too ! Monet in my favourite painter with Caillebotte. Then Rembrand and Velasquez, And plenty others too

ah, c'est autre chose ça ! tout à fait en haut, ça peut être vertigineux. Mais la montée ne l'est pas, donc tu dois pouvoir y aller et t'arrêter sans difficulté si ça te prend
