It's what you may call 'wood grain brush' which makes it easier to draw in a stylish way!

Yep.
Basic 厚塗り is done on 1 layer.
But when it comes to coloring,I use about 7 layers in additon to it.
In case of doing white&black 厚塗り,only 1 layer is something I use.
