In a half-shell, they're the heroes four.In this day and age, who could ask for more?
This year's totally the 25th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! (Or, if you grew up in the United Kingdom: This year's totally the 25th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles!) Making them an entire year older than me!
Donatello (Β©Mirage Studios USA) was always my favourite one. He was calm and collected when the other Turtles were acting like crazy lunatics. So here's my official Mark-version (complete with golden triangles, natch).
Anyway, I'd also totally recommend The Official Turtles Site , where you can totally read loads of the original comic for free!!

Probably one of the cartoons that go me drawing in the first place! And that would make you the same age as me! I think it was all us '84 and '85'ers that were Turtle Crazy. I never did understand why they were "Hero Turtles" over here though. Whats wrong with Ninja!!

Yeah, those were different times, I guess. They probably didn't want a generation of British children growing up wanting to be ninjas. Instead, we all turned out as Heroes!

And, that's pretty cool. I have some early memories of helping my mum cut out double-sided paper renderings of the Turtles. She'd drawn them, but I did Donatello's tongue. (I also did his tongue in this picture.)
