Description "Chief Engineer's log; Commander Montgomery Scott, stardate 2841.7. I honestly don't know what Starfleet was thinking when they built this new Enterprise but I think they had monkeys put this ship together. Nearly all of the primary systems are malfunctioning, the new warp core, which by the way do NOT get me started on, isn't properly calibrated to the ships main flow systems, and even the bloody doors won't open at times. On top of that after leaving the Yorktown snowglobe, note for deletetion, the Enterprise nearly shook herself apart after jumping to warp. The stress was mainly on the impulse drives, main defelctor, nacelle pylons and the nacelles themselves indicating a major imbalance in the subspace stabilizing field geometry and the nacelle warp field output. So with that in mind I decided to start drawing up the specs on new secondary hull designs as well as some minor alterations to the scaucer for structural balance. The Nacelles had to be completely redesigned in order to generate the proper warp field and the main deflector was rebuilt to create a balanced field geometry. Minor systems checks are currentyly going on right now and my engineering staff reports the ship should meet Starfleet standards. Hopefully Admiral Kirk might liket his new ship now that it won't fly apart at the seams. God knows i've heard him wine about it enough from the main bridge....Um computer, delete last sentence. Commander Scott out."

Honestly i've always liked the Refit Enterprise from the Prime Timeline better and this seemed more fitting to the Kelvin-verse to have the Enterprise A look like it. Plus a lot of people have noted me as to why did its look to change it from what they had on ST Beyond. Read Scotty's log and you'll see why. Every new ship has their flaws and apparently this was a fatal one that

DO NOT USE!!!

Throwback to an under-appreciated film.  ST5 was plagued with problems due to the writers' strike when filming the movie.  What timing, right?!  It could have been much better with some major rewrites but the original premise was that the ENTERPRISE crew discover an entity that claims to be God.  A concept that does sound intriguing at first thought.  It just was a victim of bad timing to get the project done.  One omen should have been that the Bridge Set of the ENT-"A" was destroyed by a fire at Paramount studios.  The fire did not do the damage but the firehoses used to put out the fire ruined the set and stage it was on.  So, a NEW "A" Bridge Set had to be constructed and Shatner, who was directing asked for a more TNG style bridge.  It was a mistake.

To be honest i think Simon Pegg did a fairly decent job with ST Beyond but there are some points that could have been better. There are a lot of issues that could be comparable to Final Frontier. What im curious about is how they're going to do Chekovs character since Anton Yelchin passed away. One of two possibilities that come to mind is either Jaela (However her name is spelled) takes his place when A: Chekov is sent to Star Fleet Academy to be reassigned to another ship where he ends up getting killed  during a mission (that might be kinda shitty) or B: had been enrolled into Star Fleets Special Assignment Program which is where the Enterprise learns of George Kirk's survival from the Nerada event. This in turn they would figure out from the fugative first officer of the USS Kelvin, that they can avert this whole timeline all together by using a temporal anomaly George was preparing to use. Maybe the Enterprise-A swoops in, grabs the Lexington in a tractorbeam and forces the captain and crew to surrender. I dont know, im no writer

What do think about the reports that Quintin Tarrantino is involved in a new STAR TREK movie project?

I can already see General Chang played by Samuel L Jackson XD

I honestly think thats a bad idea. The only movie i've seen that he's done was Pulp Fiction

I saw that one and Resovoir Dogs (spell?)  It was over the top violent and bloody.  He is NOT my favorite director/writer.
