Pencil on A4 bristol. Original by Egor Zalivin [link]Had a bit of block and it was driving me insane, had to draw .. anything. Saw this and thought about freedom of speech. You have to watch what you say or post these days or the thought police will pay you a visit ... sshhh .. i better stop now, incase. Anyway, about 10 or 12 hrs, Eyes are a bit too large and the fingers look a wee bit flat but i feel better now i've had my fix of graphite .. until tomorrow

Thank you, i have been trying to get the hours down as much as possible to make the prices more reasonable for commissions plus the pose was reasonably simple .. and no hair or clothing textures or other time consuming fiddly bits, and it was one of those good days when you just draw with no distractions. It would be great if every pic was like this. A lot of clients don't appreciate the hours that go into these when we tell them how much so we have to go faster to keep the prices down i suppose.... also i posted a small pic, the original is not as tight as this looks at this size lol

Thank you, when i was drawing this i had a few ideas about the interp .. one being the idea of excepting what you are told without thinking for yourself, the idea of the ignorant empty mind sort of made the eyes come out vacant and soulless. I toned the interp down upon posting though but the eyes stayed
