Simple simple I am. My family, all asleep..so I must put my guitar down. She was "tired" anyway (Segovia).

This after installing a shiny new faucet (my gift to the family). So my cup, not quite full, I visited the photos from the last session at my beloved lake (more like a big pond).

But tonight I left behind all my philosophies of convention and made a manipulation of four separate pieces. Garish! Over saturated! All those things smart photographers hate. But...I've never claimed to be all that smart, and sometimes, it just comes spilling out...that uncontrollable flood of the hands becoming separated from the body and mind. Rebels.

Anyway, this is what resulted...my simple, garish dream of what I wish and hope could be real...peace..contentfulness, a place to breathe it in, close the eyes and still see it..over and over.
