It's all connected somehow.Not really sure at times
Other times seem constant and reliable
And then...
Almost as if someone left the bath water running
And had to leave on emergency...
A very terrible emergency
And when they return home
It's not the place of rest they had hoped for.
(Those are just words)
Truly, I try to live in the positive light regardless of all the things swirling around like fiery snowflakes.
I think this one is done. We have lived together for awhile...about a year...and several evolution cycles.
We artists make things. Some of them we think about before we start....and others are started with a blank mind and canvas.
The paint does what it will. There is struggle and fighting. Paint always wins.

the history on this one was not documented...it started very red, of which there are only glimpses now

We cannot escape the mood of our country. Our brothers, sisters and children live in despair.
Not the despair of food hunger, but the hunger of belonging and reasonable trust of their government.
The perception of betrayal from all directions has left us desolate.
Humility has left the room and I keep wondering when we left those strength-enabling characteristics for the what we have now.

Yes, the government has turned against its citizens. All of us - even those it does not paint most clearly as targets... and so very many ARE named as targets. What is even the point of it all? Deporting people who are doing no harm and most likely working, contributing to the economy, even essential? Denying legal aid to the poor? Shutting down Planned Parenthood so women don't get the health care they need? Planning to take away health insurance from people? What is all this except sheer cruelty? And so many of our "fellow Americans" are fine with it
