A comission from another site i didthis took me approx 8 hours and i'm happy with the outcome ^^
it's quite pretty if i do say so myself
and a little bit different from my other pieces
i think i've become a little bit better ^^

Wow, this piece really stood out to me from your gallery! You look like you've improved so much with this painting! I really love the colours, the pose, and the composition. And all the shiny things of course. Soo many shiny things
The colours here really compliment each other well. The light blue and dark blue with yellow highlights is really pretty ;v; The dragon's serene expression fits really well with its wonderfully done free-flowing pose. He/she just looks so comfortable like they're just chilling in their own beauty.
I feel like this picture would have much more impact if you made the character pop from the background more. You could make the background darker to make the bright blue really stand out and give a better feeling of the vastness of the space stretching off into the distance behind the foreground. It would also help if you used a white gel pen to outline the character ^_^
Other than that, this looks so epic :'D commissioner's response is so much yes

well, i'm half a copycat, as i'm easily influenced by the original that it's drawn from
i was really happy with the pose as well~~
i'm finally getting to the point where i can draw more than side left-facing standing dragons with one leg up
[i have no idea what gender it has XP]
the background was somewhat bugging myself as well
though i think i'll leave it as it is
i don't have a white gel pen
time to cry, hahahaha XD

i have 5 drawings lying around at home that i need to take a picture of
which also somehow seem much better than my previous work
and i really dig watercolours nowadays XP
