it's so unusual but i dunno why, maybe that it's so simple when u look at it but when i imagine that u had to put a lot of work in... it's not so easy so ,so cool!

i sat down and had a pencil and some paper. thats how it started. it wasnt a lot of work either, just little bits in the whole.

heh, thats how it started. then i went over it in pen and erased the pencil. happens with lots of my stuff but not all.

I like how the leaves take up most of the piece. Gustav Klimt had painted a couple of landscapes where the foliage of the trees were the majority of the image almost seeming endless.

I absolutely adore your trees. There's just something about them. I think it's the lack of branch depth combined with the depth of the grass and the roots. And there is a sort of folky feel to it, a particular style. I really feel you getting your frustration out by covering the page... I dunno. But it's really well done, these are beautiful, simple (yet so detailed) images.

a bit of time, yes. but it was easy and just a lot of repetition so it wasn't annoying.
