Description
You were in your room of the Castle That Never Was. You were looking through a shelf of books, trying to find one to read, when your door burst open and slammed into the wall. You whipped around to find Demyx, shaking, eyes wide with fear.
You immediately barked out, "Demyx! Whats going on?!"
this snapped him out of it, and the look of true fear present in his every move told you the answer even before he said it.
"It's Saix again!" he wailed and cringed.
You sigh. Saix was a berserker, and his temper got the best of him at least three times a week, more often going over that limit than staying under it. But the strange thing was, you were the only one who could calm him. Not even the Superior had the same effect on him that you did.
"Who got to him this time?" you ask, knowing the answer to this also.
"Axel! He started picking on him again! He teased him, called him X-face again, then when he said something about you and Saix, he-"
you cut him off, "Wait, what?"
You had known it would be Axel, but you were not prepared for what Demyx told you.
"Axel said, '_______ and Saix sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.' And Saix snapped! He's in the Grey Room and he's destroying everything! You have to stop him before he kills Axel!"
he paused then muttered, "Not like he wouldn't deserve it though."
You gave a quick nod, "Right. Lets go!"
You grab Demyxs' wrist and drag the trembling Nobody with you. When you arrive at the Grey Room, all was chaos. The entire room was destroyed. In the center of the room stood a very intimidating Saix. His eyes were a solid golden-yellow, the X-shaped scar that criss-crossed over the bridge of his nose was large and jagged, and his long blue hair was incredibly messy. He had even gotten so angry that he was surrounded by blue fire that illuminated the whole room. He was snarling viciously, baring his fangs. Tables, chairs, and even couches were over turned, and Axel hadn't been the only one in the room it seemed. He, Roxas and Xigbar were all behind the same knocked-back couch, trembling. Roxas was terrified of Saix when he was berserk, and he wasn't usually around when the Luna Diviner got angry enough to go berserk. He was practically in Axel's lap, hugging him close, eyes shut tight. Axel hugged him back, shaking like a leaf. The fear in his eyes said enough, and you saw that he knew he had gone too far this time. Xigbar was ducking as low as he could next to Axel and Roxas, and he looked just as frightened. On the other side of the room, Luxord had his back pressed against a table that was on its side, covering his head as something made of glass shattered on the other side. Larxene was a few meters away behind a tipped over armchair, casually reading one of her books by Marquis De Sade like nothing was even happening. You took in the scene at a glance and immediately knew that you had to stop Saix then and there. You started to walk forward, leaving Demyx hiding behind the half-open door.
You said in your gentlest voice, "Saix? Saix honey, you need to clam down. Okay sweetheart? Please."
You were the only one in the world who could talk to him that way and not die instantly.
Saix turned around, and when he saw you, it had an immediate effect. He instantly became calm, and he returned to normal,
"Oh, hello _______."
You raised an eyebrow and eyed the claymore in his hand. He noticed and quickly dispelled it. You shook your head and took one of his hands, leading him out.
"Cummon, lets get you out of here."
You turned to the overturned couch. Axel was visible, with Roxas still clinging to him.
You called to him, "And you will clean this up, right Axel?"
He looked indignant, "What!? That's not f-"
"Right Axel?" you glared at him and he gave in.
"Ugh, fine." he huffed.
You then led Saix to a stairway, far from the Grey Room. You sat down on the stairs and Saix did likewise. You turned so you were sitting sideways and facing him.
"So, what happened this time?"

Saix sniffed disdainfully, "Axel just couldn't keep his mouth shut is all."
he avoided looking into your eyes, and you smile, thinking 'Huh, maybe Axel was right.'
He saw you and asked, "What're you smiling about?"
You look up at him, "Demyx told me what made you so angry."
Saix blushed madly and looked away, "I don't know what you're talking about."
You scooted closer to him, so the two of you were touching, and you reached out to turn his face towards you again. He was still blushing and his cheek felt warm on your hand. You looked into his golden eyes for a moment, and he looked right back, then you asked
"Why is it that I'm the only one who can calm you when you're berserk?"
He slightly pressed on the hand on his cheek,
"Well, whenever I see you, I...I just don't feel...angry, anymore."
You nod, "Yes, but why?"
He avoided your eyes, "I don't know."
You take his hand in your other one and gently squeeze it, "I think you do."
He growled and extricated his hand from yours,
"No I don't!"
You were a bit shocked by his sudden aggressiveness,
"Well shit, you don't have to be so nasty to me!"
You quickly take your hand off of his face and he yelled,
"And why do you care?"
You get right up in his face and yell just as loud, "I don't!"
"Fine!"
"Fine!"
Your face was barely a centimeter away from his as the two of you stopped yelling, and without warning, Saix suddenly leaned forward and kissed you. You were so surprised that you lurched backwards, and you were suddenly teetering on the edge of a step, about to fall down a flight of at least twenty-five stairs.
You thought, 'Ohh, this is going to HURT!'
but at the last second, Saix jumped forward and grabbed you, quickly curling his entire body around yours protectively. He held your head close to his chest, and you felt the impact of Saix hitting the first stair. For a few seconds, the world wouldn't stop spinning, then, suddenly the two of you were at the bottom of the stairs. You immediately got up and checked on Saix. You were seemingly unhurt, but he was sprawled out of the floor, eyes closed, and he wasn't moving. Your mouth went dry with fear and you gently shook him.
"Saix?" no response.
You shook him a little harder,
"Saix? Saix!" still no response.
Tears sprang into your eyes and clouded your vision. You moved closer to him and gently put his head in your lap, whispering,
"Oh, Saix, Saix. Why did you do it? Oh, why, why did you do it?!"
The tears fell from your eyes, but all of a sudden, Saix groaned and his eyes fluttered open.
"Saix!"
He looked up at you, "_________, are you okay?"
You couldn't believe it. He had just saved you from falling down a flight of stairs and possibly hurting yourself by taking the force of the fall himself, and he was asking you if you were okay.
"I'm fine! But are you okay?!"
You wipe away the tears with the back of your hand.
"Why did you do that?"
Saix sat up slowly.
"I think you know why." he said softly.
You smile, "Then I think you know what we should be doing right now."
Saix leaned in close, smiling, "K-i-s-s-i-n-g?"
You giggle, "We may not be sitting in a tree, but I think I can overlook that."
Saix was still smiling, "Me too."
He was about to kiss you when you asked quietly,
"So why did you do that?"
He smiled, "Why else? I love you."
You smile and put your hand over his on the floor,
"I love you too Saix."
He smiled and kissed you, and you kissed him back.

"So why did you do that?"
He smiled, "Why else? I love you."
You smile and put your hand over his on the floor,
"I love you too Saix."
He smiled and kissed you, and you kissed him back.
