Description
Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper figures without scissors and glue. Origami was originally used in rituals. The words "paper" and "God" in Japanese are consonant. Therefore, all paper products were given a religious meaning. For a long time, this kind of art was available only to representatives of the upper classes. But most often the form of a crane was used, which since ancient times in Japan was considered a symbol of longevity and happiness. Such a figure was called tsuru. From those distant times to this day, cranes are a very important sign for origamists.⠀⠀
