Description

Her warm blood tainted my cracked lips. The knife sunk deeper and deeper into her pale flesh. The blade slid past her ribs, lacerating her spasming heart. Grinning wildly, my fingers coated with congealing blood, I open my mouth and scream. The waves of euphoria devour me. Candy red gushes out of her chest. Her trembling arms can barely support her skinny frame, as she pushes herself up. Her twinkling blue eyes greet my own. Repulsed, I shove her back down. How are her eyes still so alive? "Why haven't you given up?" I demand her. "You should be dead." With her nauseating smile, she rasps: "I won." Tears runs down her sweaty face. Dumbfounded, I challenge her. "You are too weak to live." Has she found my weakness? No, that's impossible... She kisses my cheek. Then she said those dreadful gut wrenching words: "I love you". Undiluted rage swells and consumes me; as I raise my knife up to strike her down for good, I fade away into smoke.
