This is my first 100% self made goggles pair. Earlier I only used to customize already bought ones.They were an Christmas present for a friend of mine. I recently introduced her to steampunk and she liked it a lot, so I decided to make something what's obligatory for every steampunk lady/gentleman : goggles.
Eye pieces are made of leather which I boiled in bee wax to make it harder. Brighter leather pieces with blue stone like rivets are from some old woman gloves. Also I used fur instead of stuffed leather for edges to make it more winter themed. The belt is fully self made from pieces i bought in sewing shop. Lenses are taken from sunglasses and sanded to fit the frames. They are removable.
They are very light and comfortable.

it doesn't has to be the same design.
I use goggles all the time, but handmade are way better.

If these glasses have glass eyepieces, then it can be dangerous if you fall.
Maroventolo, if you make goggles with soft pads that will protect face from the solid parts of the goggles - it will be really good thing for snowboarding. It just my opinion)

And don't forget about eyepieces - they should be made of durable plastic or something like this

In fact lenses are made of plastic, and with frames are only solid parts of this goggles.

Newer tried, but they are quite lasting. I think they could be used as ski or snowboard goggles.

A chciałabym takie mieć... No, ale. A machnąłeś już może takie rękawiczki, też gatunkowo steampunk, bez palców? Zawsze jak takie u kogoś widzę, to mam ochotę mu je zdjąć... Machnąłeś...?

Stety bądź nie jeszcze nie, bez maszyny do szycia rękawiczki są poza moim zasięgiem póki co, jedna krzywa igiełka do skóry to za mało mimo wszystko, też nie mam tyle skóry.
