This looks good, but you also might work on the picture by adding some shading and lightning, as to reflect the shinyness of the water.

I don't really know how to shade. Do you have any tips? I use Paint.net btw.

well, for shading, you could need a new layer, on which to shade. so, create a new layer in paint.net, and then go to "Layer properties" and change the "blending mode" to "multiply" for the shading. Then use darker colours on it.
For lightning effects. change the blending mode to "additive" or "Shiny" and see how that effect would look like.

It's a good pic
as for future references I'd reccomend working on hands (heh, who doesn't need to these days? XD) and maybe thinkness when you're doing things like gills, I notice her neck looks a bit awkward with how think they are.
