Description
In addition to no sets based on either Batman: Arkham and Injustice: Gods Among Us, I also noticed that the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes line has a surprising lack of sets based on the live-action TV shows that are being broadcast on The CW. However, there was a DLC pack of playable characters for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham that featured The CW incarnation of Green Arrow, which only further makes me scratch my head at why there are no LEGO sets or minifigures based on The CW television series. It's also worth noting that The Flash is absent from the aforementioned DLC pack.

With that being said, I decided if I was going to make a design for an alternate version of The Flash as a minifigure, it had to be the one based on his appearance in the show of the same name, where he is played by Grant Gustin. I had a lot of fun designing this figure, since I really like the drastic darker red of this suit just as much as I love the darker colors of Superman's suit in Man of Steel. His backstory is pretty much the same as the main DC Universe Flash, involving Barry Allen being struck by lightning and being able to move at incredible levels of speed.

I'm open to any praise or criticism on this design, so feel free to comment your thoughts, or make a suggestion for any characters you'd like to see as LEGO minifigures.
