I started watching the 90's Moomin anime and I adore it!! I know I'm a bit late to the Moomin hype but I just couldn't quite find the right time until now.I've been really enjoying this show so far, it's so wholesome and funny and sweet. :')
It's funny, Moomin seems like exactly the type of thing I would've watched as a kid, but apparently my dad couldn't find anywhere to watch it back then. It feels almost wrong that I never saw it back then, it really is exactly the kind of show I would've liked. My sibling and I grew up with a lot of older shows like Bagpuss, Noggin The Nog, and The Clangers, so Moomin would've fit right in. I'm glad I'm watching it now though! It's like a piece of my childhood that I never actually lived.
(Btw the flower he's picked is definitely for Snufkin, just saying ;3)

Yup, Moomin is great! And no, I haven't seen the 2019 version yet! I wanted to watch the 90's anime first since it's the most popular one and the one that a lot of people grew up with, but I definitely plan to watch the new version after that! I'm taking my time with it though, just savouring it rather than binging for once hehe. :'D

It's a tie between Moomin and Snufkin for me! The other characters are really lovely as well though. :3

I'd have to say Snufkin is definitely my favorite. He's just so interesting and I want to know more about him. Also he has some (a lot) of social anixety which is a big mood.

Yeah, Snufkin is super interesting! I love how he's usually so calm and he just quietly observes the world, idk it's just really nice. He's so chill.
He just comes across as really wise too, like he understands things and sees things that a lot of people don't pick up on. Snufkin's the kind of person that you could have a really interesting thoughtful conversation with that could probably go on for hours. I can definitely see why Moomin cares about him so much!

I never watched it, read a couple of the books but never got really into them - but maybe I should also come late to the hype because they are adorable tbh. I love this dude's lil' flower. C:
