Description Here's a strange one.
For as long as I can remember, whenever I've read a book and get a picture of the character, I always mentally 'draw' the character as the type of animal I feel they're most like. This is kinda annoying when I read horror, but great for fantasy and sci-fi.
Anyway, when I first read The Hobbit when I was seven, I imagined Gandalf to be an old, gray badger with white paws and black ears. So that's what he looks like.
There's only two differences between this drawing and my origional idea of Gandalf. The first is the staff - it's based on the Ralph Bakshi film. I still find it hard to imagine Boromir without a horned helmet. The second is the ring which he's wearing, which if you don't understand, ask a LotR geek about
