It's not great. It's a small picture I made, about the value you find by looking inside someone for yourself. It's about taking the time to understand not just yourself, but the people around you, for who they are. Because what's on the surface is only skin deep, but what's in the heart is often harder to find, but just as often made of pure gold.
I've been told that I'm like that many times in the past, but I still find it hard to believe. I don't feel it's true for me. But for many of my friends, it is. The picture's offering a hug, and that hug's for you.
Those who cannot look for themselves lose something precious, even moreso because they do not realise it.

It's not a great picture, but I like it. It's got the feeling I wanted in it. The character is dressed exactly as I dress. And the shoulders aren't right. The more I look at it, the more I keep seeing the flaws. I just have to tell myself that the feeling is in it, and that's what matters.
