Actually I think these two would be epic friends!!!!! C: I blame myself annnd actually fanfics too. I've read quite a lot but my favs stay the ones in which Momo and Zuko are awesome bro's together ;D And C'MON they are both epic, they're both my favorite characters and more people agree with me!I used the Blue Spirit in this case because the most of those stories involve the Blue Spirit big time and that's awesome. It might also have been the reason I started to read fanfics AT ALL. ..Also because there wasn't any shipping in those first few stories. Man I mean uGH shipping...... romancy stuff isn't really my shit. You'll probably hear this till eternity.

I know, I've been making a lot of sketches/sketchy drawings the last time but I'm not sorry for that. I actually like it. So deal with it, there will be other drawings again too, don't be afraid. But sometimes sketchiness is just necessary. And it looks good.

The least you could have done is tell me that the first story 'Into the Bleu' isn't compleated and is abandoned two years ago!
I got so into it. It really is a great and amazing story with so freaking much potential! Such a shame it didn't continue... None of the burning questions got enswered...
I can see how you'd wanna make fanart for such a story though. I'm tempted to make some myself about Zuko and the bleu spirit, or the last uploaded chapter with the epic team-up between Zuko and Toph.
So. Should I give the Undying Fire a shot or is that one abandoned half way too?

I actually totally forgot about it for a long time, back when I started reading it it was still being updated, although a bit slow, and the last chapter was added LONG after I drew this. It wasn't as dead as it is now sadly
I know right?? It's one of my all time favorites at least, it's so well written and keeps things realistic and in the feel of the show itself aaaahhhh.. I gotta reread it sometime
Holy shit, do it, make the fan art! It deserves all of it! There isn't much, though there was someone making a comic of it some time ago. Which is a great idea that I'd like to try as well. But DO IT!!
Undying Fire is alright, I guess? It's not as great as this one but it really dragged me in and wouldn't let me stop reading. There's a lot of interesting plottwists, the characters are for the most part in character, the friendship feels are GOOD, and it's not boring for a moment. Sometimes it repeats some scenes/tropes a little too often but I didn't really mind. And, it's not abandoned! it's still going strong and actually being updated frequently the last couple of months/weeks

You took to long to answer it so I went and started reading the Undying fire already. I'm on chapter 31 now and you're right; I can't put it away!
Soooo bad for my studies but the story is very good. I'm glad I read this one after Bringing out the bleu instead of the other way around.
I'm really glad it's still ongoing. I read on the previous chapters that the writer intends to upload a apart every week. EVERY WEEK! And those aren't any small chapters either. She's sure amazing that she can do that.
I'm not sure which one is better though. Sure Bringing out the bleu has more suspencion, but taken that that suspencion never came out, they never found out Zuko was behind the mask after all, is really quite a let down and leaves you with the feeling; why did I read this story? Cuss it never came to that revieling moment we al yearned for.
I find the amnesia part of the Undying fire really interesting. I mean, the bleu spirit traveling with the avatar and even he himself doesn't know who he is? That sure is nicely done. Though I did like the mute and having to write things down in the bringing out the bleu story better. As well as the bond between Zuko and Sokka and the bond between Zuko and Toph. But perhaps I'm judging to quickly and that will come as the story unvolds when I get to reading further.
And perhaps I will. I'm doubting between two images I have in my mind. Zuko talking to the bleu spirit (from BOTB) or Zuko sitting with his knees to his chest on top of a boulding somewhere on the southern air temple, thinking bout his fractured memmories with Momo at his side. Any predilection/request?

Oh my god you read fast :'D I remember it taking me multiple weeks before I was at chapter.. 18 I think at the time? But might also be because it's the first fanfic I ever read
I know right.. ahhhh I haven't read it in awhile but I'm sure once I continue I'll be fully invested in it again. YEA hell yea every week! I've been seeing so many updates I'm actually starting to believe that and holy shit yea same, I respect the writer so much!
I really love them both, and indeed BOTB doesn't have a satisfactory ending yet but I still sort of believe it'll come one day since the writer said they were working on it but very very slowly :') Still though. I don't really know if I think it's 'better' per se but I do think it's slightly more believable and it repeats things less than the Undying Fire.
Another Zuko story that I think goes really well in depth in the series and the characters is Second Nature by Lazyartisan(writer and story are also on Deviantart although I don't know if its the same name) but the same for BOTB goes for this one, it's unfinished and hasn't updated in 7 years ahghfdfdsklhfslkhf.. Even worse, in contrast to BOTB's writer, I haven't even seen any activity from Second Nature's writer.... But if you're interested in a similar story then I say go for it xD

BOTB. I hope it continues. Not sure wheither I did subscribe to watching it out of frustration I guess...
I'm not even gonna try Second Nature then. An abandoned story always leaves such an empty feeling ya know...
I do have a different story that is really, really good! It's called Embers and can be found on Archive Of Our Own (a site like fanfic.net). It's compleate and has over 90 chapters of which each is at least as long as the ones of Undying fire! It's mainly about Zuko and how he discovers his new abilities (healing and others). The research done for it is no amateur work involving a lot of different spirits, cultures form different ages (mostly eastern) and psygology. It's far more realistic and the drama and dilemma's scetched are really amazing and really really really deeply thought through. On AOx3 its the avatar story (with Zuko) that has the most bookmarks. If ya got some time to spare and want to read an awesome story, I'd highly recommend this one.
And I guess I'll get to the painting/drawing part of what ya recommended. Though it might take some time. When I take a day of no school, I'd pretty much read this Embers all day... ^.^"

Ahh I know the feeling of the abandoned story but mostly I'm just so desperate for a good story or even vague cool idea that I'm willing to read everything, even badly written.
Oh yes Embers! That's a really good one and I've been reading it since.. even before art school, it was one of the first stories I was really into together with the Undying Fire and Bringing Out The Blue. I still gotta finish it though
