Whoa I realise that this is my first submission of May, and it may(May, may.. get it? ahahah ha.. hah.) as well be something awesome because you haven't seen something from me in a long time and May is an awesome month. C:Yus as you can see I made this in April already.
I promise, I will eventually come up with some recent art but for now this IS pretty recent I am doing this challenge with myself where I watch a random Avatar episode and draw only the first animal/creature that appears. Well in this case there's only one option in which episode that is, because this thing only appeared once(in the series, because it damn well looks a lot like that blue spirit wolf in the new comics except for it's color...). Any idea which episode I watched? If you do you I'll maybe give you a llama as reward
Actually I'm really happy with how this came out! It was actually a challenge to try out my new brushes, but yeah that creature needed to be drawn and then this happened. I know it looks rough in some sort, but from a distance it looks really good to me C:

It's from the Siege of the north, right? Right before Aang meets Koh.
I really liked that wolf spirit, I do hope it is the same as the one in the Search. Roku's dragon was blue when it was in the real world, so maybe that's why the color is different? The wolf spirit is epic, so I hope so.
I like Aang's adorable surprise too. He's so tiny! X3

Hei Bai started out pretty aggressive too, so maybe that will change in part 2 or 3, I dunno. I was thinking that with the moths and whatnot that it might be a forest spirit too, y'know? I can hardly wait for part 2!

I wish the releases weren't so far apart. The wait is agonizingly long.
I don't understand why people don't like The Promise and The Search. They're aren't perfect but they are really, really good! Maybe everyone's just traumatised from The Last Airbender. XD

I hope that they will eventually release a hardcover version of The Search too, The Promise one is beautiful.
That's what I feel like, it's almost as if I'm reading an episode.

Haha, yeah, I didn't watch the whole movie myself but what I did see was laughable. The bending effect were better than I expected though.

aah yes I would definitely buy that one in a heartbeat, since I actually managed to get The Promise here in the Netherlands(though the language is still english but that doesn't matter) so I seriously hope they will eventually have The Search here as well because I NEED IT

not that long actually, it took me longer to find out what the brush was capable of then actually making this XD I think I did this in less then an hour, I'm not really sure anymore but it felt pretty fast

I still have moments where I only wnat to throw everything away,cause it looks soo ugly(specially when I tried to draw Paws again for the 100th time XD)
