Closer to the edge of the Thetys Rift, the Castellum Fleets of the Limes Gondwana presented a new-found strength in the wake of the imperial advance. Where the forts and their watchers had been dormant for centuries, they were now being reborn and rebuilt in the anticipation of battle, their ancient systems nursed back to life and weapons prepared to once again send fire against the enemies of the Imperium.
From ancient holds and docking ports, half-forgotten starships broke their moorings and returned to the open void where they had once fought the great battles of old. Legends were reborn under the banner of the Brass and Iron Crusade, old strength returned to glory in the name of vengeance.
