Moreover, tensions between the established powers promise a struggle for power and claims of off-world territories that may see a third party profiting greatly. Thus, the Pasadena was sent to establish contact with the local governors and commanders, exchanging good, information and even officers to strengthen bonds of friendship and alliances. All the while, diplomats aboard will be provoking just in the right places to steer the situation in a most favorable situation for the Compact.
