Description
Galactic ambitions come at a steep price. The resources involved in interstellar diplomacy and trade are greater than even the colonization efforts of entire new worlds. But the Syndicracy always favors the bold. Once the first of the four companies ventured onto the galactic stage, competition demanded the remaining three follow. All of Brakos followed intently, as the scope of their civilization expanded to a whole new dimension. A failure, at this crucial moment, might have upset the balance of power in Brakiri society forever. But the great galactic venture did succeed, and from then on, the authority of the Four Chairs would be forever secured. The gap between them and the secondary gallery, the investment necessary to even dream of competing with their reach, increased more than ever before in Brakiri history. Very, very few could afford the price of galactic ambition. Those that did so early on, still reap the rewards.
