Description
The T'Riss Interceptor is a design quickly introduced by the reinstated Narn regime following the second liberation of the Homeworld from the Centauri. It was conceived to replace many of the heavy Frazi fighters in the fleet's surviving battle groups and aboard newly built carriers.

Its design borrows intentionally heavily from the iconic Frazi, aiming to symbolically envoke the military strength reached by the Narn Regime before the devastating war.
Beneath this facade, however, the T'Riss has been stripped down to the bare minimum necessary for it to fulfill a basic interceptor role. As a result, it lacks the weapon's strength and durability, but most importantly the long reach and capacity for independent missions made the Frazi such an effective asset. The one advantage over the much heavier predecessor is much easier handling and firing control.

These changes were made out of necessity. The Narn Regime needed a cheap strike craft for mass-production to quickly secure its returned territories and fill the massive gap left after the war. Even more dire than the loss of material was the annihilation of an entire generation of trained and experienced military personnel. With experienced pilots becoming an absolute rarity, the new fighters needed to be able to deploy effectively after minimal training, until the military of the Narn got up and running again.
