Description In 2275, the IPX Vasco Da Gama was sent on an unplanned expedition following reports of strange sightings near Sector LR-2301, named Thumis. Following a high intensity hyperspace signature, first detected by local mining posts, a massive mass anomaly was registered in close proximity stellar orbit around the local star, apparently dipping in and out of the corona. When the Da Gama arrived at the site, it was met with a small armada of civilian ships and a strike force dispatched by the Drazi Freehold. It was revealed that the anomaly in question was a starship of apparent Vorlon design, though its class had never been registered before. Sensors indicated the vessel lifting both mass and energy from the star, before it opened a jump-point and disappeared.
Of the purpose and category of this vessel, little could be discerned. However, crews of all ships on sight reported visions and auditory hallucinations of singing choirs, often closely tied to religious rituals of their own culture. They had been called to the "Giant of Thumis", as this was the name given to the vessel by its short-lived procession. Some say, it was a wild vorlon ship, singing of the departure of its former masters.
No recordings of the song of the Thumis Giant were made, though several telepaths on site made vigorous attempts at recreating the melodies in their mind.

Glad to hear that! I wasn't sure how well designing something new in a vorlon aesthetic would go, but I'm quite happy with it!
