I dunno why I had not commented on this before (creo que no busco en galerΓas completas, jejejeje).

so i'm curious i picked up again from when speedball aparently lost his powers and got some brand new ones and blue up that school in the Civil War Chronicals. so like what happened to him to cause this? last i remember of speedball was when he had that kinda stoney pattern back in (last comic i have with him in it) the infinity wars. (i just started buying comics again starting around Civil War Chronicals 7 and almost all my other comics range back from 1996 so any briefing would be incredible lol)

Quick summary - New Warriors became part fo a reality TV show, and in the course of an encounter with bad guys that gotout of hand, massive explosion. Most of the Warriors involved were killed (Night Thrasher, Namorita, Microbe) Speedball survived but had overloaded his powers trying to absorb the explosion and burned himself out. Lots of (IMHO) bad writing later, the now depressive Robbie discovered that his powers were linked to feeling pain, so he built himself a suit which was designed to hurt him at all times (spikes on the INSIDE of the suit) and became "Penance", the only superhero whose powers are triggered by self harming. Yes it IS as bad as it sounds.

that's fair, i don't see much point to him myself, and i never paid attention to him when he was speedball either. I don't even know why they even bothered showing him in the infinity wars >,,<
