That is a very good shot.

I'm amazed with the clarity of this shot. I've got a shot of a swallowtail as well, but the focus is nothing near this.

you are right. as much more focal length you get less dof at the same aperture

Anyway, I love these photos. I've tried to shoot butterflies and I know how frustrating it can get, chasing after them whole day and cursing the wind
