I like this. It's like the kind of stuff you see on a giant page full of sketches and what not for character design. Simple to observe and reference, the like.

I can't stand doing lineart without shading! >< Shading just makes everything better.

you mean Brushed art! try emulating a real brush stroke as opposed to streaks. If I even got what it is you are trying to attempt. lol sorry Optomate!
