Description moΒ·ment A brief, indefinite interval of time

This is the main series from my trip to Paris. It's been turned into a book (which you can buy here! ). The book contains the full series of twenty pictures. I've got ten pictures lined up for dA and I'll upload one per day to keep your watchboxes from getting swamped

Excerpt from the preface:

To me it's about being able to go down a street seeing the thousands of different stories unfolding right in front of my eyes. It's fascinating watching these slices of life brush past you. But where do these moments end up when you're gone? Who records them, to prove that they ever existed?

I would love to see this cropped, putting her somewhere in a rule of thirds frame, and perhaps a little more contrast.

great find

For starters, I've bumped the contrasts a fair bit in this for prints and viewings, I'm just bad at actually updating my deviations after I've posted them. I went for the centered composition just to make the girl seem really left behind and alone. But yeah, I'm sure a rule of thirds composition would have done the trick as well!
