This photograph 'NOW' was a joy to make. One of many taken of model Franka at The Strand on the High Street, Cheltenham after closing time at about midnight. This shot probably the second or third of the shoot was so easy. Franka is the sort of model all photographers wish for. Warm, enthusiastic and very professional, wanting to produce exactly what you're seeking.

I've called it NOW simply because it evokes the instant moment that I realised the shoot would be spectacular; as it proved to be!

Franka is very architectural; the way she held her head, her hair became a central feature as much a part of her as her arm and legs were. All played a part in her composure and actual being. At times I was merely a camera-bearer, but at others her modelling recklessness reigned back to accommodate my direction. She inspired me as much as she oozed eroticism and concentration. You could say she was a touchstone for exemplarity.

Some say, to achieve it is the next best thing after tightrope-walking across the M42. And that it represent the times rain has ruined Wimbledon; all we know is it's reaching 30,000 page views at DeviantArt...
