Vampire Hunter DIf there's ever been a character in a story as close to being a god without actually being one - it's D, second only to his father, Vlad Dracula.
This gorgeous hunter deserves so much recognition for nearly thirty years of being one of the most beloved characters in both Anime and Novel.
This piece was completely done from zero to this on the computer, and is my first computer work in well over 4 years I'd say. I am a bit rusty, but I hope the outcome is pleasing enough to everyone, so, enjoy!

the colors at the bottom of the picture...those purples really catch my eye ^^ Everything has a shimmery almost Crystalline look

WOW that was really fast. I wasnt expecting this for awhile. But any way, really WOW just WOW this is truly amazing, i love how the hair looks, even if it is a blend of all the natural colors actually looks well natural. this picture seems to catch the feel of vampire hunter d, i may not have read all of the novels but this captures the things ive felt in seeing the illistrations.

He is awesome, I wish another movie (and more!) were being made, like in the quality of Bloodlust.
He is worth drawing over and over, lol! I still don't understand how to digital paint, it confuses me. I wish I could, because I do like the look some artists get. One day! I like his hair, and the lips. Hope to see more posts from you!

Thank you! I spent a bit of time making sure the reflections were just right. I still wanted him to look drawn, without getting into any real realism in it. Y'know, to keep in touch with his pre-made style.
