My first impressions were of a Cold War era train station in Eastern Europe. (Just the train's engine is such a potent and beefy design and has the look of some I have seen in the old USSR) Then I saw the futuristic weapons and body armor the guards were equipped with, the high tech scanners at the turnstiles, and the semi-protective nature of the civilian's clothing. This made reappraise my first impressions. This might be just a time-line where the Socialist brand did not falter, or had a resurgence here on Earth. Then I thought about some off-world place where a colony has been settled on a lessΒ hospitable planet then Earth. This is really quite an impressive image, and gives new meaning to the time-worn adage about "a picture being worth a thousand words". You have done a truly great job on this. Is there perhaps a back-story to this image? Best of luck in your future endeavors.
