a practice on drawing hands and flowing hair. i'm still learning how to shade hair properly though

i based the piece and the song itself to Marcey (the character in the picture) and how she struggles everyday with her life. the silhouettes behind her represent her struggles, her anxiety, the people of the society, and pretty much everything bad about her life. hence the song, she "rolls" away from her problems, but no matter how hard she tries, she still faces them everyday. another problem that weighs her down so much is that she's anemic, and she's afraid to leave her little brother too soon to her other relatives
