When Wolverine and The X-men came out, I was very disappointed that Jean Grey was never given a costume of her own. There are images of her season 2 look, but that never actually made it into the animation series. I am not an artist by any means, but I thought it would be interesting to give the old Marvel girl costume a revamp since this the story line starts with Jean as the Phoenix within her is manifesting. I would have preferred to see Jean in a green Phoenix costume, but I gave the design a shot. I used paint because I have no photoshop. I just flipped Emma Frost's pose, put Jean's head on it, and painstakingly colored it... Enjoy!
