Bio: Discord needed an heir to carry on what he had planned for Equestria. Who better than the Ruler of Equestria to bear it? So, Discord had impregnated Celestia against her will. They didn't love each other. A few months after that, Discord was turned to stone and Nightmare Moon was banished. Celestia tried to get rid of the unborn foal, but no matter what spell she cast, the foal was still alive, like there was some magic barrier protecting it. Celestia had no choice but to give birth to the foal. Eventually, the foal was born. Celestia named this foal Vesuvius. Her subjects were surprised at the arrival of Vesuvius since they didn't know Celestia was pregnant in the first place. Celestia noticed how much this foal looked like Discord, which distressed her.

Vesuvius was a very quiet pony. He was always thinking, so he didn't feel the need for talking. He was curious as to what was going on around him. Vesuvius was always bullied as a foal due to his looks and being fatherless, but he did his best to ignore this. He never did tell Celestia about this. One day, when he was older, Vesuvius snapped. A bully had taken it so far.

A voice in Vesuvius's head kept saying, "Don't let them boss you around." In a sudden rush of anger, Vesuvius lunged at the bully, screaming at them and slashing their face with his claws. Vesuvius was growling like a rabid animal, his sharp teeth bared. Within a few seconds, his mother had separated them, saying how disappointed she was at Vesuvius's actions. He stopped his growling abruptly, looking at what he had done to the bully. There were bloody scars all over their face, and they were sobbing in pain. Vesuvius then looked down at his claws. They were splattered with blood. Vesuvius realized something.

"I..I'm....I'm a monster..." he cried out, flying away with tears in his eyes. Vesuvius kept flying until he was tired. He then landed in front of a statue of a draconequus. Vesuvius felt a connection with this statue, but he didn't know why. He continued to cry silently by the statue. Suddenly, the voice in his head came back. "It's okay, Vesuvius. You did the right thing." it said. Vesuvius opened his eyes, surprised. "Wh-What?! No! I...I hurt somepony! I'm a monster..." Vesuvius replied. He then looked up at the statue. "You're not a monster, my son. That pony deserved that after what they did to you. Revenge is always nessescary." it replied.

For some reason, Vesuvius felt as though the statue was the one talking to him. He became confused. "Son?! I'm not your son! My father is dead! You're just a statue!" Vesuvius shouted, standing up with his wings spread out. Everything was silent for a moment, but then Vesuvius could hear laughter. "Statue? I'm more than just a statue. I never died. You mean your mother, Princess Celestia, never told you that she turned me, your own father, Discord, into stone?!" the voice then continued to laugh. Vesuvius sat down, feeling bewildered.

"Y...You're lying..." Vesuvius replied sadly. Everything went silent. A few seconds passed, but Discord's voice didn't reply. "ANSWER ME!!" Vesuvius screamed, slamming one of his hooves against the ground. A few more seconds passed. "Answer...Me..." Vesuvius cried out quietly, collapsing. A few minutes later, Vesuvius wiped his face off and got up, sighing. He trotted towards the direction of the castle, head drooping. Celestia found him outside the castle steps, exhausted from the long walk he took.

Celestia talked with Vesuvius in an attempt to make him feel better, but he refused to listen. Finally, Vesuvius sighed and angrily said, "I don't listen to liers." Vesuvius then yelled at her, saying that she lied to him his entire life. She yelled back at him, and they argued. The argument ended with Vesuvius yelling at Celestia about how much he hated her. Vesuvius became infuriated. He was no longer the crybaby or pushover everypony thought he was. They underestimated him. Vesuvius visited Discord's statue more often, wanting to be far from his mother. Discord said that they could rule Equestria together, and kept persuading Vesuvius to get rid of Celestia so she couldn't get in their way.

Vesuvius felt pleasured at the idea of his mother being gone. He then began to think of plans to get rid of her so his father could be freed from his stone prison. But in truth, he wanted to rule Equestria by himself. He wanted nopony in his way. Later, Vesuvius ended up reading about an object called the "Alicorn Amulet." The amulet had a special type of jewel that could enhance the power of anypony who got ahold of it. So, Vesuvius searched Equestria for it until he had found somepony who sold rare artifacts. He then stole the Alicorn Amulet from this pony and left without a trace. Vesuvius then made his way down into the secret caves underneath Canterlot. He made a chestplate to wear around his chest and then carefully removed the gem from the Alicorn Amulet. Vesuvius placed the gem in his chestplate.

Suddenly, Vesuvius felt a strong rush of power. It felt overwhelming at first, but then he embraced it. Vesuvius quickly blasted his way out of the cave, causing parts of Canterlot to collapse. Celestia immediately found out about this catasrophy and confronted Vesuvius. She had to stop him. Celestia didn't know of Vesuvius's plans to get rid of her, though. The two got into a duel, fighting each other to the death. Thunder crashed and rain poured down. Canterlot crumbled around them and ponies were escaping quickly. Vesuvius saw that Celestia got weaker and weaker as they kept fighting. She collapsed from tiredness and panted. "Don't worry, it'll all be over soon, mother. But, heh, at least you tried."

Vesuvius then lunged at Celestia, growling and biting down on her throat until she stopped struggling.

At that moment, time seemed to stop. Princess Celestia, a heroic and strong mare, had been brutally slaughtered by Vesuvius. Panic swept through ponies as they screamed in horror at the sight of Vesuvius. He turned towards them, a wicked smile spreading across his face. There was blood dripping from his teeth and his chin as he laughed manically. Vesuvius spread out his wings, rising into the air. "A new age has begun, my little ponies...It is I, Lord Vesuvius! Your ruler!" he laughed, lightning illuminating his blood-soaked jaws. He teleported to Discord's statue, smiling. "The deed is done, father." Vesuvius's horn began to glow with an everlasting fire. "I'm freeing you." Vesuvius said, shooting the beam of energy at the statue. The statue glowed with light, and then exploded into hundreds of pieces.

Vesuvius continued to laugh as he stomped forwards. He then picked up the statue's head. "But I work alone. You should've known that by now."

And so began the reign of Lord Vesuvius.

Little did he know that in the future, there would be six ponies that would try to end his reign over Equestria....The Six Spirits of Harmony.
