I worked really hard on this drawing, it took me hours on different days. I'd estimate the time I put into this as approximately seven or eight hours, mainly because I was unable to draw a good Azumarill in a fine pose, and because I suck at drawing people.

I think Misty turned out well, Ash turned out better than I expected. Togetic looks so cute on this drawing! Azumarill and Pikachu didn't go well. However, this is, in my opinion, the best of my four PokeShipping drawings. In real life, it looks even better, because of the scanner...

This are Ash and Misty when they are 16 years old.

On the drawing, Misty's clothes and hairstyle are inspired by her mermaid outfit, which she wore in one of my favourite Kanto episodes, "The Misty Mermaid". and I talked about this drawing on Serebiiforums while I was working on it. She thinks Misty looks a little bit more mature in her mermaid outfit, and I also think so, so I decided. I gave her the long hair from her mermaid outfit, and the necklace. A revealing pink strapless top is the closest to the mermaid bikini top. Her shorts have the color of her mermaid tail. The shoes aren't based on anything, I suck at drawing shoes so I just made that as easy as possible for myself, in fear of screwing the drawing up.

Ash is also based on his outfit in that episode, the part where he dove underwater and helped Misty out when Team Rocket with transvestite James appeared. I just made him have a long-sleeve shirt to not simply copy from that episode. Aside from that, there isn't much to say about it.

Pikachu doesn't look fat on this drawing, drawing a fat Pikachu on all of my drawings would become boring, it has to remain funny, so I'll just draw Pikachu fat once in a while. Pikachu got exercise and lost a lot of weight.

As I already said, Togetic is Misty's former Togepi, who evolved and was released quickly after that in a cameo appearance for Misty in Hoenn. I like Togetic a lot better than Togekiss, so I drew it as a Togetic.

Azumarill is Misty's Azurill, who was seen in Misty's cameo's, just before the Battle Frontier episodes started. It developed itself well, is Misty's strongest Pokemon, and a really good friend of her.

I am a PokeShipper, which means I think Ash and Misty are a couple.
