Description As some of you may know, the Joker is my favourite character/villain to draw.  One evening, I was sitting in my studio, after a long day of drawing and working on projects, and decided that I wanted to just draw something for myself.  So, I grabbed a blank art board, and decided to completely go into this drawing blind, without prior planning or thumbnail layouts, and just see what came forth.

Amazingly enough, this is what came about, as a result, which should be concerning, if this is what exists within my subconscious, lol.  This design of the Joker, is taken from DC's New 52 initiative, more specifically from the Death of the Family storyline that ran through the Batman Family of comic books in 2013.

*Potential Spoilers*  You have been warned....

Essentially, back in Detective Comics#1, the Joker voluntarily has his face removed by the Dollmaker, and then subsequently disappears for a year.  A year later, the Joker returns to Gotham, and goes about retrieving his face, which is now at Gotham Police Headquarters, being kept as evidence.  Breaking into GCPD HQ, the Joker turns off all of the lights on the floor and proceeds to murder several police officers, and goes about getting his face back and reattaching it to his head, via a makeshift leather belt and wires to hold it in place.

I don't know who thought that would be scary. They were trying WAY too hard.
