That wall in the photo - isn't that actually the ridge along which goes the Konigsjodler ferrata?

I think it's pretty much the opposite side of that mountain...(but I have never climbed there so I just say what I think). The photo under these lines show the other side of the mountaina nd I think you can see the ferrata in the background...

Unfortunately I had a flu and I didn't feel like I wanted to go higher after standing up at 5 am and walking around with my 20kg equipment backpack. The Matras-house is on my list for 2014 but with less equipment and a better health condition. I think I will go there via Arthur-house (which is also on my list for 2014 just for taking photos). So far I've explored more from Stegmoos-Alm to the Wall and a little bit in the area of the ErichhΓΌtte...the other thumbnail shows another photo from that trip if you're interested.

Yeah, less equipment is more, it's a very long trail to the Matras-house. I never stayed there for a night, but the sunset and -rise must be very beautiful!

I also look forward to 2014 to visit Matras-house again
