Description I was actually rather a little shy to upload this... Then again, I have explained everything in my journal: [link] Just testing drawing him with his new feet design.

Again, I still want to stress that everyone can still draw him in ways they felt most comfortable with. What that means is that, for example, if they can't draw him with 5 fingers, they can draw him with just 4, and so on.

After this, I plan to do another drawing of him again, this time in his quadrupedal stance, to show how he looks like on all fours with those pair of feet.

I am not in the habit of following often your drawings ^^U
But, personally I say to you that the current design this one well, and I believe that you have adapted the legs correctly, so much to cover biped, as quadruped to move.

Thanks. Actually, I used to thought so oppositely: Another reason why his legs began as plantigrade, which I did not disclose of, is to accomedate his huge tail, since it's difficult for him to stand on tiptoes with a tail like that. But, at least I have also pointed out before that his tail is actually mostly just fur, so tail weight is no longer an issue anymore as it previously used to be. (The weight of his entire tail, including all those fur mass, can be thought of being merely as heavy as a bed pillow.) Think of squirrels' tails, too: All those fur mass actually hides a much thinner and lightweight tail.

actually I'd think his tail would make it more possible for him to stand like that...long tails are great for balance

I see... Actually, when I did this picture, I also picture how characters without tails would also be able to stand with such a pair of legs (like most of Extvia's characters are).

Yeah. Unless... Then again, digitigrade feet are also a way to show that these characters have a more superior feet balance, being able to stand on such pair of legs. However, I also prefer logic, and so the trick here is to draw digitigrade feet while not making them appear as if they're standing on tiptoes! (Look at Lucario's feet, for example.) Though can barely be seen clearly here, the floor coverage of his feet is actually a lot wider than it appeared here. (About half the floor coverage of his old plantigrade feet.)

I think the feet are fine they go well with him , you also gave a nice description for what people can do if they want to draw your character.

Yeah. All those reference pictures of Marwan I did are purely as guidelines only. In fact, the only details I really hope people will follow are the length of his ears (both reaching knee-length), and the length of his tail (exactly twice his body height). However, 10-20% length errors are still okay.

And thanks. Yeah, his feet go quite well with him In fact, now that he has digitigrade feet, his quadrupedal stance (which some furry artists refer as the non-anthro "feral" form -- not the case with Marwan, because his body shape and hands still remained exactly the same) should look better, looking even more animal-like now, instead of appearing Tarzan-ish. (Haven't drawn that yet, though... I will be very soon.)
