Ab iss building mein woh attraction nahin rahi. There was a time when she stood out like a golden mirage in the middle of a still developing desert city. But as time went by, her aura began to fade. More and more buildings were being constructed. Taller, more beautiful structures began to rise. The Burj Al Arab, The Emirates Towers, The Burj Khalifa... history was being made.
There was a time when The Dubai World Trade Centre was visible for miles. No matter how far you'd travel inside the Emirates, all you had to do was look across the evening horizon and she'd be there like a golden flame in the middle of a desert. Now she's barely visible after a few hundred meters.
